The family of Nancy Elizabeth Lewis of Fredericton Junction, NB wish to announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on December 17, 2025.  Nancy was born in Fredericton Junction, NB on October 6, 1938, to the late Jessie (Tracy) and Lancelot Allen. She was the loving wife of the late Murray Lewis for over 65 years.

Nancy will be dearly missed by her children Peter (Lisa), Pam and Ian; grandchildren Stacey, Jeffery (Katie), Ryan, Meghan (Tyler), Kate, Michael (Jordan), and MacKenzie (Rob), Taylor Lavigne, great grandchildren Vance, Brice, Alexandria, Jason, Trey and Marlee, sisters in-law Elizabeth (Jean-Claude) LeBlanc, Heather (Loran) Buckley and Linda MacGougan, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mom loved her family, her friends, and any community where she lived. Dad’s work caused them to move occasionally to places from BC to NS before finally retiring to NB. They loved to travel across Canada with Mom pointing out along the way where you could get a good cup of tea. She was the friendliest person, always enjoying a chat and making new acquaintances. Mom was very community minded and volunteered extensively with church and community organizations. Most recently she retired as a volunteer with the Mission Thrift store in Fredericton. For 10 years she drove a school bus covering Tracy to Hoyt and she loved reconnecting with those that she drove on the bus, often with fond stories of early morning pickups and afternoon drop offs. Thursdays found her playing “kitchen bridge” with childhood friends. At home, Mom was an incredible baker, an avid card player and a staunch Blue Jays fan. She was a member of the Fredericton Junction United Baptist Church and frequented the New Maryland Faith Baptist Church.

Along with her parents and her husband Murray, Nancy is predeceased by her sister Esther Breau (Bob), and brothers Charles (Georgie) and Bryce (Peggy).

Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville, NB on Sunday December 28, 2025 for visitations from 3-6pm. Funeral service will be at the Fredericton Junction United Baptist Church on Monday December 29, 2025 at 11am with Rev. Maurice Hattfield officiating.  Reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fredericton Junction.  Interment will be in the spring.

For those who wish, donations to the Mini Bus in support of the Seniors on the Go Program , or the Gladstone Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
